While the waxing process may cause some discomfort, it is generally safe. We do, however, have some advice. If you're using any Retinol products, we advise discontinuing them at least one week before your appointment. For those who have recently undergone tanning or major exfoliation procedures, it's best to allow your skin a recovery period of at least two weeks before scheduling your visit with us. Rest assured, we are committed to treating sensitive skin with the utmost care. For this purpose, we use a special wax infused with zinc oxide, specifically designed to reduce inflammation

We usually recommend that your hair be at least 1/4 inch long, which is roughly about the length of a grain of rice. This specific length is the optimal size because it allows the wax to properly grip the hair, making the removal process more efficient and successful. If the hair is too short, the wax may not be able to hold onto the hair tightly enough, resulting in less effective waxing. Conversely, if the hair is too long, it might make the process more painful and less efficient. Therefore, to ensure a smooth waxing experience, do keep this guideline in mind when preparing for your waxing appointment. It's always about finding the right balance for the best results.
