WHAT'S NEW :: classes & events
<- return to classes & events menu Mindfulness MeditationPeaceful City Sangha welcomes everyone, from any background or tradition, who wants to practice meditation and mindfulness in community. We begin at 5:45, usually with a brief reading, and then sit for half an hour, followed by discussion in which anyone is welcome to share their experiences--joys, challenges, questions, etc-- regarding their practice. Beginners are welcome, and simple meditation instruction is provided on request. Our group grows out of the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese Zen Master, poet and activist. In gratitude for the space, donations to Eviama of any amount are welcome.
